From a vision to reality... Twenty years ago, a group of forward-thinking businesspeople created an enterprise dedicated to land transportation and specializing in high-level service for the needs of Costa Rican businesses. From this vision a company was born that, 20 years later, offers the most comprehensive service both within Costa Rican territory and beyond her borders. As the company has developed and grown, we have carefully implemented the tools to remain at the forefront of the field of land transportation. Today, we boast a modern system of radio communication between all units and their bases in San Jose and Guanacaste, bilingual personnel, comprehensive policies from the National Insurance Institute, logistical support in the operation of its services, 24-hour service and a flexible, modern fleet.
Code of Ethics At Tourism Transportation Cielo Azul are deeply concerned about the safety of children and adolescents. It was on March 28, 2006, that we signed a Code of Conduct to help prevent any type of exploitation of minors in the tourism industry. This Code of Conduct is associated with a project of the World Tourism Organization and ECPAT International a network of organizations and individuals working together to eliminate the sexual exploitation of children. This project is being implemented in popular tourist destinations throughout the world where children may be at risk. By signing this Code of Conduct, we show our commitment to discouraging and penalizing the commercial sexual exploitation of children associated with the tourist industry. Cielo Azul firmly believes that tourism should contribute to sustainable development and promote peace, human rights, mutual understanding, and respect for all people and cultures.
